About

I have been in the design, marketing and web business for 25 years. I have worked in the corporate world, as well as, the agency world. This variety of environments have exposed me to a wide range of work and have formed me into a creative person with a unique skill set. I have worked as a graphic designer, a photographer, an art director, a creative director, a coder/developer, a UI/UX designer, a website hosting provider, and recently founder and president of a shoe company. I participated in all aspects of the ownership process from sales and accounting to marketing and production. I understand all sides of the creative and marketing process which helps me identify with people, communicate effectively and create work that solves problems.

SOME OF MY BELIEFS

I believe in keeping things simple as much as possible. That's not always as easy as it seems. Starting with complex ideas and concepts and making them simple takes creativity and work.

I believe in working smart and hard. Taking the easy way out usually doesn't help anyone – not the client or yourself.

I believe the creative process is not forced. Trying to push something through just because the client needs it is not good. Take a step back, refocus your attention, try something different, even if it's totally unrelated to what you are currently working on. Those things help get you "outside of the box" and look at things differently, which lead to better ideas and concepts.
